The Beginning
Established in 2006, Highfield Professional Solutions was forged on the core values of absolute Professionalism, Integrity and Expertise, which still drives our work now. We take pride in our dedicated approach to recruitment and all of our customers.
Our vision was simple; to provide a superior solution to recruitment.
The Present
Based in the beautiful village of Durley in Southampton, Highfield thrives on a dynamic and professional environment with a strong team ethos promoting hard work and loyalty. A respected work hard, play hard’ guide to each week promotes many regular opportunities of celebrating the successes of everyone’s efforts. Our approach and reputation have helped attract experts, allowing us to develop some superb consultants from trainee and apprentice levels through to recruiting leaders.
We have formed a vast network of clients built on trust and success, partnering leading global design consultancies, contractors and some excellent specialist niche companies. Supplying temporary and permanent recruitment services across the UK and now reaching around the Globe as we extend our expertise internationally. Adhering to our values has been key to establishing ourselves at the forefront of the Technical Engineering and Construction recruitment market.

Highfield are an ambitious, rapidly growing, modern and entrepreneurial organisation driven forward by a hard-working team. We continue addressing the skills gap in the Technical Engineering Sector by growing our diverse global engineering community, as well as expanding our team across both Highfield and Datax Connect.

Charities
Highfield Professional Solutions is proud to take an active role within our community. The charities we support were chosen by our staff so that everyone within Highfield feels strongly and wants to help. Our official charity partners are Rays of Sunshine and the YMCA Fairthorne Manor.
Rays of Sunshine grants wishes for children across the UK (aged 3 – 18), living with a serious or life-limiting illness; giving young people a chance to enjoy a moment of escape. Ward wishes are also granted, which offer a distraction to hundreds of children during their time in hospital or a hospice. Events and outings are held throughout the year for large groups of seriously ill children including trips to theme parks, hospital activity/pamper days, parties and The Rays of Sunshine Concert. Over 5,000 individual wishes have been granted since the charity was set up in 2003, each as unique as the children who make them.

The YMCA is all about welcoming, listening, caring and inspiring. Creating exciting and active places and moments where life skills, confidence and friendships grow, they aim to help young people and families to belong, contribute and thrive.
Your first morning, day or night away from home – or the first home of your own – are experiences you’ll never forget. Thanks to the work of the public, 40,000 children, young people, and families every year are able to experience opportunities through their community YMCA.
