Technical Planner – Critical Contracts

Location: Gatwick

Reports to: Service Delivery Manager

The Company

We are working with a privately owned service provider who focus on Critical maintenance and small works project contracts across the UK. The company is based as a relatively new office in Gatwick and have gone through a slight restructure recently. As such they are looking for an additional maintenance/technical planner to assist with supporting their engineers and setting up works.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Technical planner to co-ordinate operational activities and ensure a consistent positive customer experience.

Experience of coordinating services in high paced technical environments would be a major plus.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage forecasted resource requirements with Area teams
  • Manage Optimise Scheduling Rosters including holiday approval for direct teams
  • Create planned maintenance annual plans and co-ordinate relationship of appointment confirmation
  • Provide out of hours rosters for all areas of delivery and escalation
  • Ensure consistent and effective use of the dynamic scheduling engine across all areas
  • Work with Operations Teams to promote continuous improvement activities
  • Be innovative and creative in the way that services are delivered, to ensure that performance targets are met within budget and that all services delivered with high levels of customer satisfaction.

Could this be for you?

Operational experience of managing technical administration is essential.

  • Experience of working in a scheduling or co-ordination environment is essential.
  • Knowledge of site working practices and safety requirements is essential.
  • Working productively in a pressurised environment, acting decisively when faced with urgent issues while always maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Compliance and HSE Experience.
  • Confident using Microsoft Offices packages.

Bid Manager – Critical Environments

Bid Manager (pre-sales / technical estimator)

The Company

You could become part of a growing M&E service provider working on a number of Critical contracts. This growth has brought the company to a point where they need to bring in some additional managers into the business to help support with areas such as managing key bids, providing pre-sales solutions or undertaking technical estimations.

The Role
We are looking for a Bid Manager to join the business and support the company with their key bids. The role will also involve working in a pre-sales solutions and technical estimator capacity. You will be part of a team that work to put company bids together. This position will be a focal point within the business and bring all relevant parties together to create these bids. You will co-ordinate between the projects and design teams.

This role would be ideal for someone from a pre-sales or technical estimator type of background. You will need to be strong in terms of collaborating with the rest of the team and any previous sales experience would be ideal.

  • Experience in pre-sales / technical estimating or managing bid teams
  • Demonstrable experience working within technical environments ideally within a Data Centre / Critical environment.

The Role
We are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to head up some key Data Centre accounts within the business. This position will manage these key accounts as well as develop their own existing accounts. This role will involve writing of proposals and utilising specialists within the business to support on this. It is important for this role that someone can hit the ground running. Ideally you would have some kind of technical sales environment.

The Role
We are looking for a junior Service Delivery Manager to join the business and take on responsibility for a range of different commercial contracts. The role will entail working closely with your customers to ensure that the maintenance and small works projects are run effectively and to the clients wants / needs. This role will be mainly based either in the office or working from home with some travel as required to your clients sites for face to face meetings.

This role would be perfect for someone either looking to step away from a site based technical role or looking to step up from a more administrative role into a more client focused position.
