The role itself will be based at one of the companies Data Centres in Hemel Hempstead but flexible working will be available.

The Position

We are looking for a Quality Manager who can come in and head up the UK function within a team of 3 Quality Managers covering the EMEA region. This role will be focused on refining business processes, utilising and improving documentation management and standardisation of practices across the business.

The main task will be the internal auditing of the UK sites from an engineering and special functions perspective. This role will be the main focal point within the UK business to co-ordinate these audits and get input from the specialist teams within the business to help writing standards to obtain a range of ISO accreditations. Other responsibilities will include, co-ordinating with external auditors and accreditation bodies, undertaking client audits and effectively managing document control systems.

This role would be ideal for someone with Internal auditor experience and qualifications as well as experience with some ISO standards relevant to the DC sector. You will need to be proactive and willing to learn. Having strong stakeholder management and organisation skills would also be useful. Any additional language skills in French, German & Spanish would be highly advantageous.

  • Internal Auditor qualification
  • Some level of technical competence
  • Relevant ISO experience (9001, 27001 etc.)

The Position

We are looking for an Mechanical Engineer to plan, manage and implement the delivery of FM services to the Data Centre ensuring operational performance is maintained at all times to the highest possible standards. This role is on a large and highly technical site and will require someone with a good base mechanical knowledge who has ideally dealt with or come across diabatic cooling (natural cooling) in their time.

The key for the hiring manager her is to find someone who ticks the box for Attitude – Motivation – Ability. You will not need to have years of experience within a Data Centre environment although some expereince with the relevant pieces of equipment would be advantageous. The role itself will consist of managing specialist HVAC contractors as well as writing standard operating procedures and undertaking regular PPM’s.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Critical Site Mechanical infrastructure needs and requirements (Adiabatic Cooling advantageous)
  • HNC level qualification in a relevant engineering field.
  • Any additional qualifications are advantageous such as, L8, Water Hygiene or F-Gas.

This role is on a large and highly technical site and will require someone with strong understanding of switching but also who is physically fit and able to be on the move for the vast majority of your shift.

  • Recognised Electrical training – 17th/18th Edition & 2391 Testing & I
