The Role

The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Working on large scale projects and supporting the structural engineers design drainage and external works
  • You will design and develop SuDS and SAB approvals as well as highway design capability
  • Use software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Micro-drainage
  • You will support the senior members of the team as well as having your own responsibility
  • You will prepare reports / flood assessments and liaise with project team members
  • You will be working in the D&B environment as well as infrastructure

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Degree qualified (in Civil Engineering)
  • Experience infrastructure specifically in highways and / or drainage
  • Passionate about working for a consultancy and developing knowledge
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Micro-drainage
  • Knowledge of building and CDM regulations is essential

Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician -Winchester

Circa £33-37k DOE + van and on call

The Company

Our client has recently been awarded a 7-year contract for the repairs, maintenance, void preparation, and substantial programme of projects to a housing stock of 27,000 across the South of the country.

They are a new business, formed to deliver infrastructure, asset and facilities management services into the UK Defence Sector. They are a 50:50 Joint Venture between 2 already established big players in the FM and Utilities markets with over 55 years’ experience.

We are urgently looking to increase headcount prior to mobilisation of the contract on 1st March 2022 and have multiple opportunities across the South West.

The role

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician who is more than just a tradesman. You will be attending both planned and reactive works in MOD properties which house military personnel and their families. This will include families with small children, partners away on deployment and any number of situations. You will be there to help and provide a solution to their maintenance issues.

  • The position is a mobile one travelling to different sites. The work will be in occupied domestic dwellings as part of a PPM contract.
  • Essential qualifications will be:
  • Minimum Level three qualified Electrician
  • 2391 or 2395 Testing and inspection qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written are essential.
  • Van and fuel card can be be provided, as well as Uniform, Phone and Tablet.
