Data Centre Engineering Manager

Location: Heathrow

Reports to: Contract Manager

The Company

We are working with a world leading Data Centre service provider. This role is on one of their most well established and long term contracts.

The Position

We are looking for a well experienced Data Centre Engineering Manager to lead the engineering teams on this site. You will be working Monday-Friday on days.

This role will require a highly technically skilled and experience Mechanical and/or Electrical engineer. This data centre will require an enthusiastic and well skilled engineering manager to maintain and monitor the infrastructure of the building and ensure that all essential and non-essential tasks are completed to the highest standard by the team. At times you may also be required to get involved with engineering tasks particularly on the HV and switching side of things. The role will also entail significant delegation of work between the team and will involve some paperwork.

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Critical Facilities infrastructure needs and requirements
  • Recognised technical training – HVAP
  • A good experience in managing teams and ability to effectively monitor performance
