Foreman

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of civil engineering and reinforced concrete (RC) works on VolkerStevin’s Sewage Treatment Works project in Salford. Managing direct labour, subcontractors and plant to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Working closely with Site Managers and Engineers to drive production whilst maintaining compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise RC structures, formwork, drainage, foundations and associated civil works.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant and material deliveries to meet programme targets.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, permit-to-work systems, QA procedures and site safety standards.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and monitor productivity across multiple work fronts.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and client representatives to resolve site issues and maintain programme.
• Promote a strong safety culture while delivering high-quality workmanship in a live wastewater environment.
