      About the Role:

      Highfield Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Project Engineer to join our team on a water treatment site in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical and electrical aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical for the successful delivery of our water treatment projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Oversee the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the water treatment project.
      • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
      • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
      • Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
      • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
      • Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
      • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving any engineering or construction issues.
      • Prepare and present project reports and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.


      • Proven experience as an M&E Project Engineer, preferably on water treatment or similar industrial sites.
      • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, techniques, and best practices.
      • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, or related fields.
      • Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE, IET) are desirable.
