We’re expanding our engineering capability and are looking for three Requirements Engineers to join a collaborative, technically challenging project team. You’ll be key to ensuring stakeholder needs are effectively captured, analysed, and translated into deliverable technical requirements – shaping the success of mission-critical systems.
About the Role
You’ll provide Requirements Engineering expertise to a major One Team programme, supporting the Project Manager and Engineering Task Manager to apply industry-leading Systems Engineering methods and tools.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Eliciting, analysing and managing stakeholder requirements
- Deriving and verifying system-level requirements using DOORS
- Supporting architecture development, modelling, and system simulations
- Writing and managing Use Cases, Test Plans and Verification activities
- Mentoring team members and contributing to project reviews and governance
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Requirements Capture experience in nuclear projects (essential)
- Minimum SC Clearance, must be eligible for DV
- Hands-on DOORS practitioner with 5+ years in government/commercial environments
- Confident writing Use Cases and conducting modelling & simulation
- Backgrounds in Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering, Design or Project Engineering welcome – if you’ve done requirements capture full-time and enjoy it
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with INCOSE SE best practices
- Use of abstract modelling techniques (Context Diagrams, etc.)
- Experience in interface design/specification and lifecycle engineering
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar (training can be provided)
