Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead the engineering function on civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Suffolk. The successful candidate will manage site engineering activities, oversee technical compliance, and support the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site engineering teams and subcontractors.

• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.

• Review and manage setting out, QA documentation, ITPs and as-built records.

• Resolve technical queries and liaise with design teams and the client.

• Oversee earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, highways and infrastructure works.

• Monitor progress, quality and construction tolerances.

• Ensure compliance with RAMS, CDM Regulations, health, safety and environmental standards.

• Mentor Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers while promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior or Site Engineer within UK civil engineering.

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, QA processes and construction methodologies.

• Experience managing engineering teams on infrastructure projects.

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
