Senior Process Engineer – Preston

Based in Preston, responsible for the design, optimisation and technical delivery of process engineering solutions across wastewater treatment projects. Providing process engineering expertise from feasibility through to commissioning, ensuring treatment processes are safe, efficient, compliant with regulatory standards and aligned with client requirements. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and client representatives to support the successful delivery of wastewater infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review process designs, calculations, PFDs, P&IDs and process specifications for wastewater treatment schemes.
• Provide technical support throughout design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Optimise treatment processes to improve operational performance, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil and ICA engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review technical submissions, resolve process engineering queries and support design risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and operational teams to ensure successful delivery of wastewater projects.
