Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to manage the safe and successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Suffolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing resources, programme, quality and commercial performance, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise site teams and subcontractors.

• Deliver works in accordance with programme, budget, drawings and specifications.

• Ensure compliance with RAMS, CDM Regulations, quality standards and environmental requirements.

• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to achieve programme milestones.

• Monitor progress, manage risks and resolve site issues.

• Maintain strong client, stakeholder and supply chain relationships.

• Oversee QA documentation, ITPs, permits and project records.

• Support commercial activities, including change management and cost control.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent within UK civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.

• Good understanding of NEC contracts, construction methodologies and QA processes.

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• SMSTS, CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
