Senior EC&I Designer
Location: Hinton House – Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
Rate: Up to £46.73/hr via Umbrella
Contract: 12 months+
IR35: Inside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Senior EC&I Designer to join an established design team, developing and delivering electrical and instrumentation design solutions across a portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce electrical and instrumentation designs, drawings and schemes.
- Produce supporting calculations and design packages.
- Develop designs suitable for manufacture and installation.
- Attend design reviews and support project delivery.
- Work with the wider CE&I team to meet project milestones.
Essential Experience
- Strong CE&I / EC&I design experience.
- Experience producing both electrical and instrumentation designs.
- Strong AutoCAD experience.
- Experience producing drawings, calculations and design packages.
- Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Relevant Degree, HNC, HND or BTEC qualification.
- BPSS and P1 Pass required, with SC applied for if needed.
- Able to work from Hinton House 3 days per week.
EC&I Engineers with strong design experience, including producing drawings and calculations, will also be considered.
