Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement complex engineering drawings and plans for highway construction.
- Utilize Trimble GPS equipment to establish reference points and guide the positioning of structures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other engineers to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare detailed site reports and maintain accurate records of all setting out activities.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the precision of all construction works.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on major highways projects.
- Proficiency in using Trimble GPS equipment.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Safety critical medical certificate.
- Strong understanding of highway construction standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

- Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
