Streetworks Coordinator

Role Summary

We are seeking a Streetworks Coordinator to support utility operations across Cardiff and surrounding areas. The role involves coordinating permits, notices, and network activities for planned and reactive works within the utilities sector, ensuring compliance with NRSWA, permit schemes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit and manage streetworks permits and notices via Street Manager/Symology.
  • Coordinate utility works across gas, water, power, or telecoms networks.
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA, Section 74, and local authority conditions.
  • Liaise with local authorities, operational teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor permit durations, overruns, reinstatements, and traffic management requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and support KPI and compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within utilities or streetworks coordination.
  • Good understanding of NRSWA and permit regulations.
  • Experience using Street Manager or similar noticing systems.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
