You will be joining a forward-thinking main contractor based in West London who are renowned for being specialists in turnkey Design and Build, operating in the UK & Europe.

The position

My client is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor up to Senior Quantity Surveyor level due to expansion of work across 3 brand new infrastructure sites that are on the ground in West London & Surrey.

The role responsibilities include to optimise the profitability of the company through projects/works allocated and take responsibility for the implementation, administration and commercial management of tasks/works allocated. Also, to liaise with SQS or Commercial Manager to ensure project meets quantity surveying best practice and compliance with the companies business authorisation levels & controls quality, health, safety and environmental procedures.

Could this role be for you?

  • Must have a working knowledge of ECC, JCT & NEC contracts
  • At least 6 years site experience
  • Working understanding of procurement practices and forms of main and subcontract
  • Good understanding of Cost / value process and reporting
  • Experience with a main contractor
  • HNC/HND/ Degree in Quantity Surveying

Contract Manager

Data Centre Contract Manager

Location: South-West London

Reports to: Account Director

You could become an essential part of a market leading Data Centre service provider looking after a well-established Data Centre site in the South-West London area.

The Position

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Contract Manager coming from a strong M&E background. You must have experience of directly managing and running Data Centre and/or Critical Site Operations. Ideally for this role you will also have experience of financial budgeting and reporting responsibilities.

This role will be a leadership position requiring someone with both the technical know-how and management skills to directly influence and manage the actions of the on-site team of engineers and work to build a great relationship with the client.

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Previous experience within the DC or Critical Facilities field
  • Experience of managing an operational team of M&E engineers
  • A demonstrable background in managing commercial and financial aspects of contracts
