    MEICA Site Manager – Anglian Water Contract

    Inside IR35

    £500 Per day

    Lowestoft

    6 Months

    The Site Manager must hold a minimum of a Confined Space – City & Guilds Medium, with safety-critical medical.

    Based at a designated site in the area, you will manage the day-to-day activities of supervisors, delivery teams, and subcontractors. You’ll ensure resources are used effectively, optimizing the workforce to meet deadlines efficiently.

    You’ll also be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, quality, and performance standards, ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and Anglian Water’s approved standards, including POSWSH.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Accountability for SHEQ performance of projects, including conducting and recording findings from periodic SHEQ visits
    • Overseeing all Health & Safety matters on-site, including completing paperwork such as weekly inspections, tool-box talks, and site-specific risk assessments & method statements
    • Acting as a Health & Safety ambassador, driving cultural change in recycling techniques, workshop recharges, and managing standing time
    • Managing multiple concurrent projects by proactively coordinating site-based supervisors and delivery teams to ensure safety, quality, and timelines drive performance
    • Delivering projects in line with tender allowance and agreed work programs
    • Supporting planning to ensure initiatives are implemented with minimal disruption, including resourcing, project requirements, and estimations
    • Procuring plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors using a financial management accounting system to deliver projects within tender allowances

    What are we looking for?

    This Site Manager role is ideal if you have:

    • Experience in the water industry, specifically within M&E or construction
    • SMSTS & CSCS certification
    • Commercial awareness
    • A full driving license

    Essential qualifications:

    • SMSTS
    • First Aid (3-day)
    • Confined Space – City & Guilds Medium, with safety-critical medical
    • Temporary Works Supervisor
    • Scaffold Awareness
    • Asbestos Awareness

    Preferred qualifications:

    • NPORS/CPCS Lift Supervisor or Lifting AP
