About the Project:
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team on a near-completed project on the North Devon Link Road. This is a pivotal role to assist in the final stages of the project and ensure successful completion. The ideal candidate will bring highways expertise, particularly in snagging, finishing works, and short-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Snagging and Finishing:
2. Oversee and manage all snagging and finishing works to meet quality standards and deadlines.
3. Conduct thorough inspections and resolve any outstanding issues efficiently.
4. Planning and Programming:
5. Develop and update short-term programmes to ensure works are completed as planned.
6. Coordinate with the team to align activities with the overall project timeline.
7. Documentation and Preparation:
8. Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
9. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.
10. On-Site Coordination:
11. Collaborate with the site team to maintain smooth operations.
12. Monitor daily progress and proactively address challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role on highway projects.
• Strong understanding of snagging and finishing processes for roadworks.
• Ability to prepare short-term programmes and plan works effectively.
• Competency in preparing and reviewing RAMS.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in the construction industry.

Contract Details:

• Type: Freelance, CIS available.
• Duration: 3 months initially, with the potential for extension.
• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible.
