    Are you an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge nuclear projects that make a real difference?
    We’re looking for an ambitious EC&I Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering innovative radiometric characterisation and alarm systems for major nuclear programmes across the UK and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working on safety-critical projects in one of the UK’s most highly regulated industries.

    The Role
    As an EC&I Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting specialist instrumentation and control systems from concept through to commissioning.
    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Developing and verifying engineering solutions that meet quality and safety requirements
    • Producing technical designs and supporting system improvements
    • Investigating technical issues and implementing effective engineering solutions
    • Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers and suppliers
    • Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities
    • Providing technical support for operational systems
    • Contributing to project delivery while promoting engineering best practice
    • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate

    What We’re Looking For
    We’re keen to hear from engineers with experience in one or more of the following:

    • Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineering
    • Control systems engineering
    • Analogue and digital electronics
    • Radiometric or physics-based systems (desirable)
    • Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
    • Customer and supplier liaison
    • Testing, installation and commissioning activities
    • Technical problem solving within highly regulated industries

    Qualifications

    • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline
    • Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards professional registration

    Security Clearance
    Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
