Senior & Principal Control Systems Engineers – Nuclear

Location: Preston – 2 days office / 3 days remote
Rate: Senior £60-£65/hr | Principal £65-£75/hr
Contract: 12 months+ | Inside IR35 – Umbrella PAYE
Start: ASAP | Multiple positions
We are recruiting Senior and Principal Control Systems Engineers to support an early-stage nuclear programme.
The project is currently in the design phase, with a Siemens-based hardware and software platform being developed. The focus will be on functional controls, functional safety and detailed control system design, rather than software implementation.

Key Experience

• Control Systems / Automation Engineering background
• Functional control and functional safety experience
• Control system design, drawings, graphics and technical documentation
• Experience within nuclear, power, process, defence or another highly regulated industry
• Siemens experience advantageous
• Principal Engineers should have experience providing technical leadership and design assurance
