Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Glasgow – Hybrid
Rate: £50-£65 per hour Umbrella
Contract: 52 weeks initially, with a view to extend
Start: ASAP, subject to clearance
IR35: Inside IR35
Clearance: SC required before starting
We are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support major defence projects in Glasgow.
The role offers long-term work within a highly regulated environment, with 3-4 days per week required in the Glasgow office.

Key Requirements

• Significant Quantity Surveying experience, ideally within defence, nuclear, engineering or other major regulated projects.
• Relevant HNC/HND, degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.
• Strong experience in cost management, cost forecasting, valuation, change control and commercial reporting.
• Experience with contracts, procurement, variations and final accounts.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• SC clearance required before commencing.

Security & Location

• British nationals only – dual nationals cannot be considered, due to security clearance requirements.
• Must be local to Glasgow and able to attend the office 3-4 days per week.
• No regular travel to other sites required.
