Clean Water Mains Renewal | Maple Lodge | £425/day Outside IR35

I’m currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on clean water mains renewal schemes based from Maple Lodge.

Rate: £425 per day
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: Maple Lodge

The Role

You will be responsible for the commercial management of clean water mains renewal schemes, working closely with the project and site teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements.

Previous experience working on water mains renewal or clean water infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of mains renewal schemes

• Cost control, forecasting and financial reporting

• Preparing and managing valuations and applications for payment

• Managing variations, compensation events and change

• Subcontractor procurement and account management

• Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor applications

• Monitoring project costs against budget

• Supporting commercial reporting and project forecasting

• Liaising with the client, project management and site teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water/infrastructure sector

• Experience working on clean water mains renewal schemes is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of NEC contracts

• Experience managing subcontractors and commercial accounts

• Strong cost control and forecasting skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Relevant commercial or quantity surveying experience
