    • Current live SC Clearance (essential – candidates without active clearance cannot be considered).
    • Experience in a quality role on a major infrastructure, nuclear, defence or heavy civil engineering project.
    • Strong civils construction experience.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering and reinforcement drawings.
    • Experience with on-site inspections and quality documentation.
    • Knowledge of Lifetime Quality Records (LTRs).
    • CSCS Card.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Experience with the following would be highly beneficial:

    • Concrete pours, pre-pour and post-pour inspections.
    • Reinforcement inspections.
    • Structural steel assembly and erection inspections.
    • QC1 documentation and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

    Working Pattern

    • Site-based in Reading.
    • Typical working pattern is 4 x 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday) with Friday reporting, although flexibility is required to support the construction programme when needed.

    What’s on Offer?

    • £50 per hour.
    • Outside IR35 (subject to individual assessment).
    • Long-term contract through to December 2026.
    • Opportunity to work on a major UK infrastructure programme.
    • Immediate start available for candidates with active SC Clearance.

Please note: Due to project requirements, live SC Clearance is mandatory. Unfortunately, applicants without current active clearance cannot be considered.
