Completions Engineer – AWE

Location: AWE – On-site
Rate: £500 per day
Contract: Initial 3 months, with view to extend
Clearance: Live SC or DV essential
Start: ASAP – candidates with current SC/DV can onboard within a couple of weeks

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Completions Engineer / Quality Engineer to support the completion, verification and handover of works on a major programme at AWE.
You will be responsible for ensuring construction and engineering activities are completed to the required quality standards, with accurate documentation and records maintained through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing completions and quality records through to handover
• Reviewing and verifying completion documentation, drawings and test records
• Tracking outstanding works, defects and punch-list items
• Using Orbit to manage and record completions and quality information
• Working closely with construction, commissioning and engineering teams
• Supporting final inspection, verification and handover activities
• Ensuring works meet project, quality and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in Completions, Quality or QA/QC within a complex engineering environment
• Experience managing completion/handover documentation and quality records
• AWE experience highly desirable
• Orbit experience highly desirable
• Experience working on nuclear, defence, process or other highly regulated projects
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and completion processes
• Live SC or DV clearance – essential
• Valid CSCS card – essential
• Relevant engineering/quality qualification or equivalent experience preferred
