Mechanical Supervisor – Sellafield Site

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a long-term contract on Sellafield Site.
Rate: £35.00 per hour (CIS)
Location: Sellafield, Cumbria
Start: ASAP (subject to site clearances)
Duration: Long-term contract

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Mechanical background, ideally time-served as a Fitter, Technician, or Mechanical Engineer
• Previous supervisory experience on industrial, nuclear, or heavy engineering projects
• Previous Sellafield experience highly desirable
• Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervising mechanical installation and maintenance activities on site
• Coordinating labour and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
• Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with site HSE requirements
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to site management
• Reviewing permits, RAMS, and ensuring quality standards are maintained
• Supporting project delivery while maintaining a strong safety culture
