Location: Leeds
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £450 per day, Outside IR35
Working Pattern: 3 days office / 2 days home

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major water infrastructure project working with Yorkshire Water.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team and contribute to the successful delivery of a significant long-term water project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of the project from inception through to completion.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Manage variations, change control and commercial risk.
• Support contract administration and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors and other key stakeholders.
• Provide accurate commercial reporting and financial information.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong commercial and contract management experience.
• Previous experience within the water, utilities, infrastructure or construction sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project cost control, forecasting and change management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a project-based environment.
