    Quantity Surveyor – Decommissioning Projects
    Abingdon / Culham Site (Hybrid – 3 Days On Site)
    £50-56/hour Inside IR35
    12-Month Contract

    We’re supporting a major UK nuclear and fusion programme and are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a high-profile decommissioning portfolio delivering technically complex construction and infrastructure projects.
    This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of the UK’s clean energy and scientific innovation sector, supporting large-scale decommissioning and construction activities within a highly regulated environment.
    You’ll play a key role in commercial delivery, cost control, procurement strategy, NEC4 contract administration, and risk management across projects valued in excess of £20m.

    What You’ll Be Doing:
    * Leading QS activities across complex construction and decommissioning projects
    * Preparing cost estimates, benchmarking exercises, and feasibility studies
    * Supporting procurement strategy, tender preparation, and contract negotiations
    * Managing NEC4 contracts including compensation events and early warnings
    * Conducting payment assessments and agreeing final accounts
    * Providing strategic commercial advice to minimise risk and maximise value
    * Supporting risk management, reporting, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives

    What We’re Looking For:
    ? RICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
    ? Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
    ? Strong NEC4 contract management experience
    ? Background in construction, infrastructure, nuclear, or decommissioning projects
    ? Experience working on projects exceeding £20m in value
    ? Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
    ? Excellent communication and technical reporting capability

    Contract Details:
    Hybrid Working – 3 Days Per Week On Site in Abingdon/Culham
    12-Month Initial Contract
    £50-56/hour Inside IR35
    Start ASAP / Late June 2026
