You’ll play a key role in delivering and supporting detailed CE&I design solutions, working closely with commissioning teams to ensure successful project execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide front-line, site-based design support to commissioning teams
    • Deliver and check detailed CE&I designs and design changes
    • Support the delivery of work by other engineers within the team
    • Ensure designs meet functional and business requirements
    • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering challenges
    • Mentor and support early-career engineers

    Essential Requirements (Must-Have)

    • Minimum HND (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
    • Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status (or equivalent)
    • Active SC Clearance
    • 5+ years’ experience as a CE&I Senior Design Engineer
    • Proven experience:
      • Working on external multidisciplinary projects
      • Providing site-based design support to commissioning teams
      • Delivering and checking detailed designs/engineering changes
    • Strong understanding of:
      • PES-based control systems
      • Process instrumentation
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
    • Willingness to support and mentor junior engineers

    Desirable (Highly Advantageous)

    • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
    • Experience working to Sellafield Ltd engineering standards
    • Previous Sellafield site experience and/or clearance (strong advantage)
    • Experience across both external and nuclear/SL multidisciplinary projects

    Working Arrangements

    • 3 days per week on site in Cumbria
    • 2 days remote working
    • Occasional travel to Warrington office (~once per month)

    Why Apply?

    • Long-term contract with strong extension potential
    • Competitive hourly rate
    • Opportunity to work on a major nuclear programme
    • Blend of hands-on site work and flexible remote working

If you’re a CE&I Engineer with strong commissioning support experience and the required clearance, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a critical project role.
