    Senior H&S Advisor – Nights – 3 positions

    Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk
    Contract: 12 months
    Start: ASAP
    Shift: NIGHTS ONLY – 7:00pm to 5:00am
    Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain the required security clearance

    Shift Pattern & Rates

    7 nights on / 3 nights off, followed by 7 nights on / 4 nights off.
    Night shifts run 7:00pm – 5:00am.

    • Monday-Thursday: £845
    • Friday: £1,235
    • Saturday: £1,620
    • Sunday: £1,230
    • Umbrella PAYE

    The Role

    We are looking for 3 experienced Senior H&S Advisor’s to support health, safety and wellbeing across a major nuclear construction project at Sizewell C.
    This is a night-shift-only position, supporting site operations across nights and weekends. You will work closely with the HSW management and operational teams to ensure compliance with project standards, UK H&S legislation and nuclear safety requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct HSW inspections, audits and site tours across night and weekend operations.
    • Identify, assess and manage risks associated with site activities.
    • Support incident and accident investigations and reporting.
    • Review work package plans, task briefings and safety documentation.
    • Provide HSW advice, coaching and support to operational teams and contractors.
    • Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
    • Support effective handovers between shifts and respond to emerging events.

    Requirements

    • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 4, 5 or 6 in Occupational Health & Safety.
    • Minimum Grad IOSH or working towards.
    • CSCS Manager-level competence.
    • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
    • Proven experience in a senior HSW/Health & Safety Advisor role, ideally within construction or a similar high-risk environment.
    • Experience in accident/incident investigation.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Must be eligible to obtain the required security clearance for a nuclear site.

    Please note: The security clearance/onboarding process is expected to take approximately 6 weeks, so candidates must be able to commit to the process.

    This is a night-shift-only role.
