Job Title: Setting Out Engineer
Location: Romsey, Hampshire
Start Date: End of June 2026
Rate: £350 per day CIS
We are currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a water infrastructure project based in Romsey, starting at the end of June.
Role Responsibilities
- Setting out for water and civils works
- Checking line and level controls
- QA and as-built surveys
- Working closely with site management and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specifications
- Maintaining accurate site records
Requirements
- Previous experience working on water or heavy civils projects
- Competent with Leica/Trimble equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- CSCS card required
- SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
- Strong understanding of health & safety on site
Contract Details
- £350 per day CIS
