We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major infrastructure project based in Buckinghamshire on a long-term contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile civil engineering scheme with strong potential for contract extension and future progression onto further major projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of critical earthworks and drainage packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on major civils works
• Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials on site
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
• Coordinate and supervise earthworks and drainage activities
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures and company policies
• Review RAMS, permits, and site documentation
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and site teams
• Monitor site progress and produce regular reports
• Drive programme performance and resolve site issues proactively

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Agent on major projects
• Strong background in earthworks and drainage
• Previous experience within civil engineering / infrastructure environments
• Valid CSCS Card
• SMSTS certification (essential)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
• Strong focus on health, safety, and quality
