Site Engineer – Major STW Project – North London

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major Sewage Treatment Works (STW) project based in North London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term water infrastructure scheme, working alongside a leading contractor on a significant project within the UK water sector.

Role Details

• Location: North London

• Rate: £450 per day

• Contract: Inside IR35

• Duration: 6-month rolling contract

• Start Date: Within the next month

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site

• Managing QA documentation and site records

• Ensuring works are completed in line with design specifications

• Supporting site management and subcontractors during delivery

• Monitoring health & safety standards on site

• Liaising with project teams, designers, and operational staff

• Assisting with progress reporting and programme delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within the water sector

• Strong civils background on infrastructure or utility projects

• Experience on STW or WTW projects preferred

• CSCS card essential

• Competent with setting out equipment and QA processes

• Ability to work effectively within a live operational environment
