Water is an incredibly rewarding industry to be part of, particularly if you have a passion for making a difference and having a positive impact on the environment. With climate change impacting not only the UK, but the entire world, the water industry is constantly pushing for advancements to enhance resilience and combat its effects. This is very important work.
As we enter the last 2 years of the current AMP cycle, construction will now be much of the focus for the sector before the next cycle in April 2025.
Supporting the asset management plans for both the UK Water Sector and the Environment Agency, we partner with Water Utility Companies, Consultancies and Tier 1 & Tier 2 Contractors. We support the lifecycle of a project from initial concept through to commissioning and handover, in particular, infrastructure schemes (such as pipelines) and non-infrastructure schemes (such as water treatment works, wastewater treatment works and pumping stations).
All across the UK.
We are presently providing design, build and commercial resource to the majority of the UKs utility companies, either directly into them or via their framework partners.
Currently supporting projects such as the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) and Radford STW. We have also supported major schemes such as the Mogden, Beckton STW and Crossness STW.
We are currently in AMP 7, a 5-year investment cycle running from 2020 to 2025. Utility companies are forecast to invest a total of £51bn during this period to improve services for customers and the environment.
There is still plenty to do yet though, with construction in full swing to complete deadlines before 2025.
