    The Role
As a Technical Author, you’ll be responsible for researching, preparing, and originating high-quality documentation that supports the safe operation, maintenance, and modification of engineering systems and processes.
    Key responsibilities include:

    • Producing technical documents such as Method Statements, Risk Assessments, SSoWs, LTQRs, PQMPs, and Quality Plans
    • Collaborating closely with Engineers, Project Managers, and Client Representatives
    • Reviewing, editing, and ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in technical content

    Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be embedded within a skilled, multidisciplinary team delivering vital work across the nuclear lifecycle. You’ll liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to develop technical content and ensure alignment with project needs.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong background in technical writing within regulated sectors (Nuclear, Rail, Pharma, Aerospace, etc.)
    • ONC or equivalent in Engineering, Communications, or similar
    • Proven experience drafting documentation in radiological, waste-handling, or decommissioning environments (ideally 4+ years)
    • Familiarity with AWE 804 systems is a bonus
    • Confident communicator, team player, and able to work autonomously

    Why Apply?

    • Flexible hybrid working (only 2-3 days/week on site)
