    Project Manager (WwTW) – Twickenham, London

    Location: Twickenham, London
    Contract: 2 years (Flexible and part-time hours may be available)
    Rate: £550-600 Inside IR35

    We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a major STW project in Twickenham, focusing on mechanical and electrical upgrades. This is a key role in delivering resilience and upgrade works for AMP7 and AMP 8, with a particular emphasis on the digester area of the treatment works.


    Responsibilities:

    As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all resources to ensure the successful delivery of a designated programme section. Your main duties will include:

    • Safety & Commercial Performance: Overseeing the safety and financial aspects of the project, ensuring that all works are completed on time and within budget. You will be tasked with maintaining or improving the contract programme.
    • Single Point of Contact: Acting as the primary contact for a defined section of the project, ensuring smooth communication between all parties involved.
    • Leadership & Team Support: Provide support and guidance to the on-site team, and work closely with the wider leadership team to ensure coordination across all areas of the project.
    • Risk Mitigation: Manage and address any construction challenges, particularly those involving live plant processes and potentially hazardous environments.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in managing complex multi-million-pound Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects, especially in the water treatment or utilities sectors.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Has extensive experience in Project Managing M&E schemes, preferably in the utilities sector.
    • Understands the challenges of working within potentially hazardous atmospheres and managing live plant construction processes.
    • Holds an HNC or higher in Engineering or Project Management.
    • Has experience in handling complex, multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering works.
