Location: South West England

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Planner to support the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the South West. The successful candidate will develop, maintain and monitor project programmes, working closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

• Monitor progress against programme and identify risks, delays and mitigation measures.

• Produce short-term and long-term construction programmes, lookaheads and progress reports.

• Work closely with project teams to support planning, sequencing and resource allocation.

• Analyse programme performance and report on critical path, float and key milestones.

• Support tender planning, programme updates and change management.

• Ensure programmes align with NEC contract requirements and project objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner within UK civil engineering or infrastructure.

• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

• Good understanding of NEC contracts, construction methodologies and project controls.

• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
