The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a clean water RMV scheme in Portsmouth, with a planned start date of mid-September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in the water sector and a good understanding of mechanical and electrical (M&E) works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

• Oversee works in accordance with the project programme and specifications.

• Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are met.

• Review and manage RAMS, permits and relevant site documentation.

• Monitor progress, quality and productivity on site.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.

• Identify and resolve issues arising during the works.

• Provide regular progress updates to the wider project team.

• Ensure M&E activities are properly coordinated alongside the wider construction works.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on water or utilities projects.

• Experience working on clean water infrastructure schemes is highly desirable.

• Good understanding of M&E works and their coordination on site.

• Strong knowledge of site health and safety requirements.

• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Relevant site management qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS.
